In the process of buying my home, I've used V.E. Peralta Building Inspection Services twice. Vince has saved me over $500,000 with his skill, expertise, insight, and good sense. Vince himself is kind, funny, and no-nonsense when it comes to the health and safety of all the people involved in your home's purchase and living arrangement. Be prepared to learn a thing or two during your home inspection, because not only is Vince a top notch home inspector, he is also willing to share his knowledge with those that will listen. He takes his time and is INCREDIBLY thorough so he can properly evaluate all aspects of the home. During our first home inspection together, Vince noticed an improperly installed sump pump, THREE different kinds of insect damage, faulty wiring, poorly executed structural repairs, structural instability in the a chimney, and a wide variety of other faults with the home. I was referred to Vince through my brother who has used Vince on a number of his personal real estate transactions. Vince worked for us on two separate inspections. The first was a house that we had under contract that Vince identified as having a lot of expensive repairs. We ended up walking away from the transaction and eventually finding a new house. Again Vince came out and communicated the necessary and optional maintenance and repairs. Vince was able to clearly communicate during the post inspection review and answered follow up questions that I had.
